The heat here is intense. In the height of summer, did I expect a cool spring to welcome me. Well, no. But still, the heat is terrible. The only thing I can do right now is stare at those coconut trees and wonder at their collective ability to endure this heat, so much unlike me.
Now, now, this is not an ode to the coconut tree. Not at all, such odes have been aplenty. That is not an ode not taken.
That said and out of my mind, I figure out ways to combat the heat in my own inimical way. So, I rush to take a cool shower. But after that half hour water sport, I emerge sweating out of the room. YEAH, sweating and so hot that I want to jump straight into a refrigerator. Now, now did someone tell me this is just the beginning of the Kerala summer.

It is seen that out of the polled voters of 260.13 lakh votes, the three main parties picked up 89.80 lakhs (Congress), 87.79 lakhs (BJP) and 49.34 lakhs (JDS) for the 80, 110 and 28 seats respectively, while 33.78 lakh voters (12.98%) had gone to the “others” category, from which six independents had emerged victorious (all whom are now a part of the ruling BJP government. It was Monu's day all the way. After all, it was his graduation day, coming out in a million colours from the three year Montessori experience.
